SANDEE
LOVE
Birth
date: August 21, 1980
Where
are you from: I was born in
Mississippi, raised in Virginia and now I live in Michigan.
A
little about your self `ie your education, Family, life etc:
I am the middle child of two sisters. I
have one son who is 12 years old. He is my world. He is Autistic,
ADHD, and has a mood Disorder. I am engaged to a wonderful man, his
name is Brad. I did attend college for Accounting and History. I am
not done, and I plan on going back. This I like to do is read, write,
and play with my cats. I also like to be outside and garden.
Tell
us your latest book news? I just
finished up my 3rd
book in the Broken Wings Series. It is in the hand of my wonderful
editor. It will be releasing in early December or maybe even sooner.
This is the final book in the series.
When
and why did you begin writing? I
began writing last summer. I was reading a book and thought to
myself; Hey I really want to do this. I talked to my editor/best
friend Genevieve Scholl and she told me to go for it! So I did.
When
did you consider yourself an Author? I
considered myself an author when I
published my first book. Which was December 23rd
2013!
What
inspired you to write your first book? I
was being bullied online at the time I started to write my book. So I
wanted to write a storyline with the main character being bullied. I
LOVE the paranormal, so I interpret paranormal into my book. I wanted
to be a little different.
Do
you have a specific writing style? Not
really I just write LOL.
How
did you come up with the titles? Well
for my Broken books, all the characters are Broken in some way. So I
decided to use that. In To Love Again, it is about a young girl who
lost so much and she doesn’t know if she will be able to love
anyone else. So I was like hey I will make that the title.
Is
there a message in your novel that you want readers to grasp?
In Broken I want people who are being bullied
to know that there is help out there. Go and get that help. Cordelia
was broken, but she wasn’t weak. Even though she had no one she
still didn’t give up. I love her.
How
much of the book is realistic? My
Broken books are Paranormal so not a lot is realistic. Just the issue
of being bullied.
Are
experiences based on someone you know, or events in your own life?
Yes, I was bullied growing up and like I said
last year I was being bullied online. I also had endure being abused
by my father as a young child. In this book Cordelia was abused also
in the book.
What
books have most influenced your life most? Broken.
If
you had to choose, which writer would you consider a mentor?
Genevieve Scholl. She has been there the entire
journey. I have so many, but she is truly my best friend and mentor.
She is always giving me advice.
What
book are you reading now? Daybreak
by: Heather Kirchhoff, it is for her blog tour.
Are
there any new authors that have grasped your interest?
You, Heather Dahlgren, Rain Murphy, Diamond
Davenport. That is to name a few.
What
are your current projects? I am not
working on anything at the moment. But I do see another paranormal
series in my near future.
Name
one entity that you feel supported you outside of family members:
Most definitely you have. You are always
promoting my books.
Do
you see writing as a career? Yes I
do
If
you had to do it all over again, would you change anything in your
latest book? No I wouldn’t I think
I did a fantastic job on all my books.
Do
you recall how your interest in writing originated? I
was reading Bitter Fruits by Sarah Daltry and I wanted to do what she
did write a great book.
Can
you share a little of your current work with us? I
am not working on anything right now, but I will tell you a little
about Broken Prophecy (Broken Wings Book 3). Cordelia is finding out
more and more about herself. She goes through more challenges and
battles. The secondary characters play a HUGE role in this book. A
lot of action and romance.
Is
there anything you find particularly challenging in your writing?
LOL I think I write to fast, and when I go back
through to read it over I get confused.
Who
is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about
their work? Oh my do I have to
choose only one? I have so many favorite authors. If I have to choose
just one I guess I would say Suzanne Collins. I love her imagination
and storyline of the Hunger Games. I think she is a brilliant writer.

was the hardest part of writing your books? Making
