SPOTLIGHT ON AUTHOR SCARLETT JADE

About the Author:
Scarlett Jade is just a small town Southern girl who is now a Northern transplant. She was always found from a young age with her brow furrowed, scribbling words on paper. Now that she is grown, life isn’t much different, she still scribbles words, but mostly on the computer! She is married to the man of her dreams, her real life knight in shining armor and Prince Charming. She has one son who is the apple of her eye and she homeschools year round. You can typically find her playing in the dirt with her son or snuggled on the couch with her dog Peanut, reading a good book. She loves chocolate, thinks coffee should be a religion, and loves to make people laugh with her quirky sense of humor. She is bold, brazen, and even been told she’s ballsy, but she doesn’t mind, she takes it in stride. She has a huge passion for all things paranormal and has a penchant for spicy love stories that leave you turning the pages and dying to slide between the sheets of her next book!

February Waltz was such an amazing way to end this series. It picks up right where you left off in the last one. I’m so impressed with the constant growth Zoe’s character, she just gets braver and more sassy and I can relate to that. The love Calvin has for Zoe is extraordinary and timeless. There are plenty of good twists and turns in the story that kept me intrigued. I highly recommend this book to everyone who enjoys a true love story.

Zoe always loved Calvin, who left Major, Alabama after high school and joined the military, never knowing her feelings. They are reunited five years later, and their passion runs hot. As Zoe’s life is rocked with bombshells, Calvin leads the way, teaching Zoe to follow the rhythm of her heart.

I really liked this book! It brought back a lot of memories for me about how quickly life can change for the good or bad.
Zoe lived in the small town of Major, Alabama and times were hard there. Most places were either closed or getting ready to close and jobs were hard to come by. Zoe’s mom had passed away a couple years before and her dad was spending a lot of time at work…so she thought. She had recently broke up with her boyfriend because he cheated on her and was not looking to get back together with him or with anyone new. I cried several times wanting to jump in there and give a few people attitude adjustments!
Back from Afghanistan on leave for 2 weeks is Calvin Hall. She secretly loved him all through high school and Zoe meets him at a beach party. Now you’ll have to get the book to see what happens!
This books was a very easy read and quite enjoyable; I laughed at the funny quips that must only be said in the South!

Two strange faces passing each other in the airport then finding themselves thrown together that same night. Fate has a way of messing with peoples lives. The story of Zoe and Calvin and a long time crush coming through is relatable.
It is hard to believe that one girl has that many friends that would betray her and a family that cant love her. But god bless the good guy you find in Calvin.
I found myself turning around and immediately buying November Foxtrot to find out how their story ends. I would highly recommend this book to everyone looking for a more relatable romance.
