For the Love of a Family and their Baby!

The law is taking children away from whole families now and extended families too.

WRONG THING TO DO? We say yes and maybe you will too after reading this:

Recently a woman (Young Mother) in Michigan crashed her own Mothers car with her baby in back seat, in car set, facing the right way. Baby was secure and was not hurt, neither was the young mother. She was found to be under the influence of some kind of medication that made her drowsy. She was on her way home from dropping her own Mother off at work in a local hospital as a highly trained Registered Nurse. 

Now... the baby was taken and placed with a relative as the Mother of the young mother was deemed an enabler to her daughter who had some substance in her system. (No opioids were found in the young mother’s system). The family member is the aunt to the young mother and sister to her Mother. The baby was taken from them too because the woman had a son who had gotten into a fight in school and who had gone to court. No charges ever filed. Then the baby was placed with another relative who had a healthy happy home with 3 other children, clean with plenty of food and a place for the baby to sleep. CPS deemed the house unfit because it did not have a crawl out basement window. WTH??? The baby would be upstairs in a secure bedroom in her own bed. Not in the basement. 

Ok soo here we go. Baby was taken into foster care. Mother has lost all rights, Grandmother has lost all rights (but fighting courts with a very well-known attorney), the rest of the family was deemed unfit for whatever asinine reasons and the case worker is trying to foster and adopt the baby for herself. This all happened in a one-week period. 

NOW TELL ME IS THIS FAIR? A child should be left with a relative if that relative is seen fit as a person who already has loved the child and has interacted with it as if it were their own. 

CAN WE SAY MOM AND GRANDMOTHER, AUNT AND COUSIN were all RAILROADED? Oh, and just to make it clear. This is a white family who all have jobs, no convictions, nice homes, no drugs and never any abuse at all. 

Even the Great Grandfather was not allowed to care for his own great grandchild and was young enough and had the means to support and love her.

There were no good reasons for this baby to be yanked from her loving family completely. Where is the love? I will tell you… God only knows.

People are so involved in keeping these ridiculous laws. Granted, they are there for the physically abused, malnourished, sexually abused and mentally anguished children of drug users, murderers, pedophiles, rapes, alcoholics and just plain evil humans. But when you have people who love a cherish a child and would never let any harm come to her willingly, and she is still taken from her loving family for really no good reason. Then I am ashamed of our country, our states, our cities and counties. Shame on those people who show up at our door and judge us on a basement window or stupid condemning issues.

God Save our Babies who did nothing wrong to deserve this treatment. Lord Jesus we ask you to watch over all children and their loved ones who fight everyday over injustices like this one, Lord we ask of you to let the righteous reign in your name, amen.
